If I can get up and go to work…I can get up and go to worship.

Where are my priorities?

What means more to me?

Who am I more worried about disappointing?

I think we sometimes figure that since God is more forgiving than the people in the world, that I can “take advantage” of God’s forgiveness and treat my Christian life with more flippancy than my worldly life.

Actually I shouldn’t have a worldly life at all. In truth, everything I do in this life needs to be done as a Christian…as a faithful Christian. That means God is not just first in my life, God is my life. In that case, pleasing Him is most important, and anything that would not please Him needs to be erased from my mental registry. So I say again…

If I can get up and go to work…I can get up and go to worship.
