As our plane approached Dallas yesterday I was able to get a look at the busybodies of the city, looking like ants scurrying around town, doing their work and going about their business. It all seems so small and insignificant when you are thousands of feet up.
I wonder how my Master feels when He looks down from an eternity’s height and observes me worrying about my life. It’s all so small and temporary. He can see it, and He invites me to see it too. He encourages us to see our lives through His eyes; to see how small our daily troubles are when viewed with the eyes of faith.
There’s a lot more going on than the road block that is just ahead. Take a step back, take a step UP and look at things from a different perspective.
