We had to cancel our morning meeting for worship yesterday. The icy roads were too much to handle. Thankfully we met that evening and we glad to do so. There may come another time, as winter continues, when we have to postpone or outright-cancel our assembling. Such things happen. It’s part of life. We don’t like it; I’d like to think all of us would rather be worshiping God than staring out a frosty window. But it does no good to dwell on such things. Best we can do is go with the flow and trust the Lord. We should pray to our Father that He give us an environment that allows us the means to worship Him, and then–come what may–we should do our best to assemble whenever we can.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof

Matthew 6:34

Translation: Don’t sweat the small stuff.
