There’s a loaded question, I know.

There’s a million words we could write about Jesus and not even have scratched the surface upon completion.

You could turn all the oceans of the world into ink and turn every blade of grass into a pen, and turn the whole sky above us into paper…we’d run out of ink, we’d wear down every pen and we’d fill up the sky and still not finish writing about Jesus.

So let’s not even try to be comprehensive…

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Revelation 5:12

Who is Jesus?

Easy: He’s the powerful, rich, wise, strong, honorable, glorified and blessed one.

But WAIT: Through Jesus we’re given the power to overcome evil. Through Jesus we’re given the riches of His majesty. Through Jesus we’re given the wisdom of His Word. Through Jesus we’re given the strength to do “all things” (Philippians 4:13). Through Jesus we’re given the honor of being God’s children (1 John 3:1). Through Jesus we’re given the glory of Heaven. Through Jesus we’re given the blessings that come with faithful service (Matthew 5:3-11).

Who is Jesus?

Maybe the question should be: Who am I? Am I who Jesus wants me to be?
