Spring has arrived and with it comes the renewal of nature and earth. It’s hard not to be excited when you step out of your front door in the morning and it’s already 60+ degrees and climbing. I know some people hate warm weather and think anything about 75 is “too much” but I’m usually wrapped in a blanket in the middle of June: To me, 80 degrees is ideal!

But then I’m not the most physically active type so…to each his own.

With Spring comes weddings, yard sales, dieting; all sorts of “new beginnings” are begun this time of year.

I hope you will make a renewed commitment to make this Springtime one that is filled with devotion to Christ. As beautiful as this season is, it’s only a temporary joy; Spring will soon turn to summer and then will come fall, and all the pretty flowers we enjoy today will whither away. You can’t depend on it like you can the eternal Word of God (1 Peter 1:24-25).

Put your focus on God and the enjoyment you get from Him will never fade away!
