Okay, so your old pal Doc Brown has come through and built a time machine. Only this time it’s not built out of a DeLorean, but out of a phone. The catch is you can leave a voicemail to your younger self, but you only have time to leave a single “two word” message.

What do you say?

I know what I’d say. I’d say

DON’T DELAY

And the sound of that warning, I’d probably become frantic. Whatever I was doing I’d hurry it up: Laundry, cleaning, cooking. Haha like I do those things at normal speed, much less in a hurry.

Aaaaanyway, I would probably worry that there was something I had overlooked; some task to be done that I’d forgotten about, and now time was running out!

Of course, time machines aren’t real, but that’s okay. I don’t need a time machine to know what things I need to get done before it’s too late. And I don’t need a time machine to know what things are running out of time…I have the Bible! In fact there’s only one thing I need worry about doing before it’s too late, and the Bible tells me what it is:

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3:7

The world isn’t going to last forever. One day it’s going to end, and it’s time is running out. I’m not worried though, because I’m a Christian. I’m ready for the end of the world. I didn’t delay in getting right with God.

Are you delaying? Every day you wait is one day closer to the end. Why wait? Become a Christian ASAP.

Don’t delay!
