We’re here at Camp Areopagus, enjoying a wonderful week of fellowship, study and singing.

The singing in particular is always wonderful here, as a full-house of young people lift their voices up in perfect harmony and offer praise to their King. I’ve had this little saying I’ve been thinking of for the past few days. Whenever we sing an especially beautiful number I will think to myself “That’s one we’re going to sing in Heaven.”

It’s easy to imagine what it will be like: Gathered around the throne of God, bathed in Heavenly light, hand-in-hand, we will lift our hearts and voices together, forever. There will be songs those who went on before us will teach us, and there will be songs that we will teach them, but we will have all of eternity to learn Heavenly hymns and we will offer them to Jesus forevermore.

What a thought!
