I hope you Arkansans, and anyone else in a super Tuesday state, will take time today to go vote. I understand that some Christians don’t do so as a matter of conscience, and I respect that scruple.

But if you ARE someone who is inclined to vote, I urge you to do so.

Even though Peter, Paul and Mary (and others) couldn’t vote on a new Caesar, they did quite often teach and follow the Christian principle of honoring government leaders (1 Peter 2:17). Not only that, but it is certainly a Christian principle to pray that our leaders would lead in a way that best helps the spreading of the Gospel.

Isn’t it great that you, in addition to praying for a (new or continued) direction for our country, also get to vote on one as well?

So, go vote and help decide who will be your candidate for President this Fall.
